The Daily Verse offers a unique way to read through the Bible: one text message at a time. Our cover-to-cover reading mode sends you sequential verses from Genesis through Revelation, delivered daily at the time you choose.

How the Reading Plan Works

When you sign up and select "Cover to Cover" mode, your first text will contain Genesis 1:1. The next day, Genesis 1:2. And so on, verse by verse, through every book of the Bible. Each day picks up exactly where you left off.

This is not a "read the Bible in a year" program with massive daily readings. It is a single verse per day, delivered as a text. Manageable, consistent, and impossible to fall behind on.

Why One Verse at a Time?

Most Bible reading plans ask for multiple chapters per day. People start strong in January and quit by February. The Daily Verse takes the opposite approach: one verse, every day, with zero friction. Over time, you read every word of Scripture, but the daily commitment is just reading a single text message.

Supported Translations

Read through the Bible in the King James Version (KJV) or the American Standard Version (ASV). Both are faithful, public domain translations trusted by believers for over a century.
