Get Daily Verse delivers Scripture to your phone by text at the time you choose. Pick KJV or ASV and receive random verses, read from start to finish, or choose both for the same price. No Bible app is required.

Step 1: Enter Your Phone Number

Visit our homepage and enter your mobile phone number. We will send you a one-time verification code to confirm it is your number. This takes about 10 seconds.

Step 2: Choose Your Preferences

After verification, you pick three things:

• Delivery time: Any half-hour from 5:00 AM to 9:30 PM in your time zone
• Translation: King James Version (KJV) or American Standard Version (ASV)
• Reading mode: Random verses, cover-to-cover (Genesis to Revelation), or both

Step 3: Receive Your Daily Verse

Starting the next day, you will receive a text message at your chosen time with a Bible verse. Every day. That is it. No ads, no upsells, no spam. Just God's Word on your phone.

What the Text Message Actually Looks Like

It is a plain SMS text message, the same kind you get from a person. There is no link to tap, no image to load, and no app required to read it. The message contains the verse text and its reference, for example Romans 8:28, along with the translation you chose.

Messages arrive from our toll free number and appear in your normal messaging app. If you choose the passage format or the combined mode, you may receive a slightly longer message or two separate messages on the same day.

Verifying Your Phone Number

Before anything is sent on a schedule, we text you a six digit code and ask you to enter it. That step exists so nobody can sign up a phone number they do not control, including signing up a friend or family member without their knowledge.

The code expires after ten minutes. If it lapses or never arrives, you can request a new one from the same screen. Until a number is verified, no daily verses are sent to it.

The Free Trial and Billing

Every new reader starts with three free days. Nothing is charged during the trial, and you receive your daily verse exactly as you would as a paying subscriber. After the trial the subscription is $1.99 a month.

There is one price and one set of features. No tier is held back, no verse count is capped, and no ads are attached to your messages. The subscription covers the cost of sending your daily texts and keeping the service running.

Changing Your Mind Later

Every preference you set during signup can be changed afterward at the settings page. Delivery time, timezone, translation, verse format, and verse mode are all adjustable, and changes apply from your next delivery onward.

If you want to stop entirely, reply STOP to any message from us. Delivery ends immediately and no further messages are sent. If you stopped by accident, replying START turns delivery back on.
