The Daily Verse is a Bible verse delivery service that sends King James Version (KJV) scripture to your phone via SMS at a time you choose. The service offers three reading modes: random verses, sequential reading from Genesis through Revelation, or both combined in a single daily message.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use The Daily Verse. By signing up, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and that you have the legal capacity to agree to these terms. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

Account Registration

To use The Daily Verse, you must provide a valid mobile phone number and complete our verification process. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your phone number and delivery preferences. You agree to receive a one-time verification code via SMS during registration.

SMS Messaging Consent

By registering for The Daily Verse, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated SMS text messages containing Bible verses at the delivery time you select. Message frequency is once per day. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from The Daily Verse. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message. Reply HELP to any message for customer support information.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use The Daily Verse only for its intended purpose of receiving Bible verse messages. You agree not to:

• Provide false information during registration
• Attempt to access, tamper with, or disrupt our servers, databases, or infrastructure
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Resell or redistribute the service without our written consent
• Automate sign-ups or abuse the verification system

Scripture Content

All Bible verses delivered through The Daily Verse are from the King James Version, which is in the public domain. We deliver the text faithfully and do not alter, interpret, or add commentary to the scripture. The Daily Verse is a delivery service and does not represent any specific denomination or religious organization.

Service Availability

We strive to deliver your daily verse on time, every day. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Delivery may be affected by carrier network issues, system maintenance, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any missed or delayed messages.

Fees and Payment

The Daily Verse SMS service is currently offered free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscription tiers in the future. Any pricing changes will be communicated to existing subscribers before taking effect, and you will not be charged without your explicit consent.

Limitation of Liability

The Daily Verse is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed messages, data loss, or service interruptions.

Termination

You may stop using The Daily Verse at any time by texting STOP or by deactivating your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. Upon termination, we will cease sending messages but may retain your phone number to honor your opt-out status as required by messaging regulations.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via SMS or posted on our website. Your continued use of The Daily Verse after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
