What Bible translations are available?
We currently offer the King James Version (KJV) and the American Standard Version (ASV). Both are public domain translations, faithful to the original texts, and widely trusted across denominations.
Can I choose when I receive my verse?
Absolutely. During signup, you pick the exact half-hour window you want your verse delivered. Morning, afternoon, or bedtime. We support all US time zones: Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, Alaska, and Hawaii.
What is the cover-to-cover reading mode?
Cover-to-cover mode sends you verses sequentially from Genesis through Revelation. Each day you pick up where you left off. It is a structured way to read through the entire Bible over time, one text message at a time.
What is random verse mode?
Random mode delivers a different verse each day, selected from across the entire Bible. You never know what you will receive, and many subscribers find that the verse they get is exactly what they needed that day.
Can I get both random and cover-to-cover?
Yes. If you select the 'Both' option during signup, you will receive two texts per day: one random verse and one from your sequential reading plan.
Do I need to download an app?
No. The Daily Verse works entirely through SMS text messages. There is no app to download, no account to create, no notifications to configure. Just a text message on your phone every day. We also have a companion iOS app with an audio Bible and verse browser if you want the full experience.
How do I change my delivery time?

How do I unsubscribe?
Reply STOP to any Daily Verse text message. You will be unsubscribed immediately. No confirmation needed, no hoops to jump through.
Do you sell my phone number?
Never. We do not sell, share, or rent your phone number to anyone. Your number is used solely to deliver your daily Bible verse. See our privacy policy for full details.
What if I miss a day?
If your phone was off or you had no signal, the message may not be delivered. We do not retry failed deliveries, but your next scheduled verse will arrive on time.
